Along winding roads and rolling hills in the lush Byron Bay Hinterland, this Summers campaign was photographed and styled by rising Australian photographer and local talent, Grace Quast.
For Grace, this is her seventh photoshoot with Goondiwindi Cotton. Supporting Australian talent and shining a light on the creative fabric of regional Australia is core to the brand ethos. Working alongside Goondiwindi Cotton’s design team, Marianne Marshall and Louise Lye, the work started well over 6 months ago, to bring the new season campaign to life. From initial concepts and mood boards, to the selection of models, garments, outfits and accessories, the process is a moving feast.
Feminine silhouettes, modern prints and bold accessories are just the start of a slightly younger feeling collection this season. The shoot took place over five days and Grace captured over 1500 images which make up the campaign and e-comm content. With every style pressed, fitted and photographed multiple ways, the undertaking is no small feat and is supported by the company’s extended design, marketing and operations team in Goondiwindi. Garments are starting to arrive in stores nationally and we will launch Spring / Summer online Tuesday. It’s certainly an exciting launch for the brand that this year also celebrates 30 years of their iconic polo – the garment, where it all began.
