The change of season brings with it an evolution in style and creative direction for Goondiwindi Cotton.  With the help of Mattie Cronan, Sydney based stylist and Style Director at The Australian Women's Weekly, AW25 brings with it a unique, elevated approach to a collection underpinned by classics for life.

To work alongside Mattie is a treat. Mattie has dressed some of Australia's most recognised personalities including Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Jesinta Franklin, Jennifer Hawkins, Delta Goodrem, Jessica Gomes, Jessica Mauboy, Kate Waterhouse, Phoebe Tonkin and Elizabeth Debicki, just to name a few. Her inherent style and vast experience on set was apparent from the moment we arrived. Working alongside esteemed photographer, Grant Tyrell (Afends, Zoe Kratzmann) the team was a match made in heaven.

Mattie credits a range of mentors in the fashion industry for her success where she began life working in publishing for In Style Magazine. Mattie says; "I'm incredibly lucky to have worked with some great mentors along the way - they have taught me that humility and kindness is key to succeeding in life and for that, I'm forever grateful".

When asked for her thoughts on the industry at large and the Goondiwindi Cotton collection this season, Mattie says; "Changes to the fashion industry have been vast over the last five years. I'm forever learning and listening in fashion - it's an industry that knows no bounds and we're seeing an incredible evolution around provenance, sustainability and a move to slow fashion. Goondiwindi Cotton is well placed to take advantage of this and they (Goondiwindi Cotton) design a beautiful collection for an ageless woman. I'm excited by what I've seen this season and where this brand will go".

Madeline wears our linen double breasted relaxed jacket and our linen wide leg flat front pant in tobacco.

Under the helm of Senior Designer, Michelle Shepherd, this season continues to possess a commitment to ageless style with classics for life underpinning the theme. A collection of wearable, everyday pieces that exude a refinement in design and attention to detail that remain inherent in slow fashion.

For years, Goondiwindi Cotton has been founded on the principles of superior craftsmanship and attention to detail around product development. As well, a commitment to friendly, personal customer service and a connection to the people that cultivate the creative fabric of regional Australia.

The heritage brand, now 35 years young, has retained it's commitment to quality and customer service which differentiates the brand in a competitive fashion landscape.
