At Goondiwindi Cotton, showcasing our community has always been at the heart of our brand.
There’s something special about Goondiwindi, and often it’s the simple things that make our town feel like home. A friendly welcome, great local food, a good coffee and the people behind the businesses that bring our community to life.
We love sharing the places and people that make Goondiwindi worth visiting, and even better to call home.

Goondiwindi has built a cafe and dining culture that both locals and travellers love to explore.
We are so lucky to be able to offer a number of cafes, pubs and restaurants, with one of those being Kitsch.

THE HISTORY
Kitsch opened its doors on Marshall Street two years ago; its owner, Amelia’s vision was to open a small coffee shop which would allow her to balance life of having a young family. Firstly, opening as a small hole in the wall coffee shop, this year Amelia expanded Kitsch to next door. Designed for alfresco dining, takeaway and to support her catering business.

Amelia loves to focus on seasonal fresh food, sourcing ingredients from Goondiwindi when possible and delicious coffee which is supplied by All Press. With an ever changing menu, Amelia has been able to create dishes with variety and a menu to suit all taste buds.

KITSCH CATERING
Along the way Amelia continued to see a demand for catering, and it has now become a very busy part of her business, which she loves! From small cocktail parties to larger group events, Amelia & her small team work with each client to design and curate bespoke catering with food styling and specialised menus. With one customer stating, "delicious food and great service, the girls at Kitsch created a beautiful Sunday lunch for our clients at home".

Amelia believes the success of Kitsch comes from the hard work of her team, her supportive husband, family, and the Goondiwindi community. The customers who visit to grab their daily coffees, sandwiches & sweets, and the many people who have supported her catering business.
